Best car rental prices in Croatia

We understand the importance of choosing the right pick-up location. With that said, Bookingauto strives to provide customers with the opportunity to collect a car from all desired locations in Croatia, including the city centre, main railway stations, and the nearest airports. Thanks to such a large selection of rental points, our clients can book a car in Croatia and pick it up at a convenient place for them.

What we can offer:

By contacting Bookingauto.com, customers can be sure that there is the right type of car waiting for them. For example, if one person or a small group of guests arrives in Croatia, it makes sense for them to rent a Convertible Porsche Boxter from €182 per day. This presentable and comfortable car is offered for rent by EUROPCAR. When it comes to a family or a large company, the best choice may be a Minivan Opel Zafira at a rate of €56 per day. Your trip will be pleasant and safe in this roomy car. For those who want some extra comfort and have the appropriate budget, SIXT is ready to offer a Business-class model - Nissan Maxima. A budget transport option for a journey would be a Seat Ibiza car, compact but quite convenient, the rental of which would cost about €16 per day.

Select the exact date and time for picking up and returning the car:

If you want to save money, choose the same pick-up and return time. Car rental companies charge for a full day of rent, so if you rent a car for 25 hours, you pay for 48 hours (two full days), and 73 hours would be equivalent to four full days of rent.

Popular locations in Croatia

On our website, you can rent a car in the following locations:

The rental points are grouped into three main locations: city, airports, and railway stations. Therefore, it won’t be difficult for you to find an option that suits you. Important note: the number of cars offered and the rental price in different rental locations in Croatia may differ. That is, car rental at the airport can be more expensive compared to the city centre. However, there is generally a larger choice of models at the airport. To pick the best option, you should study all of the offers, compare prices, and then make a decision.

imgEstimated daily prices
Car rental cost by month

During the high season in summer, car rental in Croatia costs 20-30% more than at other times. For example, renting the VW Passat popular in Croatia costs €36 per day in July. In autumn, you’d pay about €8 for the same model.

During the holidays, the demand for car rental is very high, which is reflected in both the price and the choice of available cars. Therefore, you should book in advance if possible.

In the summer, prices for convertibles are especially high. As a guideline, a Porsche Boxter will cost €182 per day for the duration of the vacation period.

Among budget models, the most demanded in Croatia is the Seat Ibiza. The EUROPCAR company rents it out for €16 per day.

For lovers of comfortable driving, you will also have to pay an increased price for business class cars – a Nissan Maxima will cost about €78 per day.

With the arrival of autumn, demand gradually decreases and this is reflected in costs. For example, a Opel Mokka at this time can be rented for just €29 per day.

It will also be easier to find unusual and exclusive car models. For example, by renting a Audi R8, you will experience real driving pleasure and enjoy a luxurious visit that will remain in your memory forever.

imgCancellation policy

On our website, you can cancel or change your booking in Croatia under certain terms.

The booking can be cancelled with a full refund at least 24 hours in advance (in some cases, 48 hours may be needed).

If cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice (or 48 hours in some cases), the administration fee will be deducted from the online payment amount but the rest of the money will be returned to your bank account.

Each vendor has a different cancellation policy and administration fee for different cars. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully read the cancellation policy before booking.

Remember that cancellations and changes are not possible after the pick-up time. This applies to all bookings.

Applies to all bookings:

If your online payment is less than the stated administration fee, there will be no refunds when cancelling your booking once the administration fee is applied.

If your booking is made less than 24 hours prior to the pick-up time (or 48 hours in some cases), a cancellation policy will be automatically applied to your booking.

Important information: All cancellations must be made in the “Manage My Booking” section and not directly through the car rental company itself.

Insurance coverage cancellation

If the car was booked with an additional insurance product, the policy will be automatically ended upon cancellation. The issue of reimbursement is resolved within the framework of the cancellation policy provided for by the terms of the insurance product.

When does the “No-show” rule apply?

The following situations constitute a "No-show":

● The customer didn’t inform of the cancellation before the pick-up time.

● The customer failed to pick up a car in Croatia at the arranged time and date.

● The customer failed to provide the documentation required to pick up the car.

● The customer failed to provide a credit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds on it.

In the event of any of the above, no refunds can be made.

The car hire company reserves the right to refuse a car to any customer who fails to provide all of the necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit. In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
