How to minimize costs:
In order to avoid paying too much, plan to pick up the car and return it at the same time. Car rental fees are set for the entire rental day. Therefore, if you return the car after 25 hours, the payment will be calculated as 48 hours, or two full days. Likewise, if you use your rental car for more than 72 hours, you will pay for 96 hours of rent.

How to cancel a reservation without penalties
We provide preferential cancellation / amendment terms for most cars and rental companies in Hungary
If you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to receipt (48 hours in some cases), you will be refunded in full in almost all cases.
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance (48 hours in some cases), you will receive a full refund minus an administration fee in almost all circumstances.
Cancellation policies and administration fees may vary depending on the provider and car you choose. Please read the cancellation policy before proceeding with your booking.
Note: you can only cancel or modify your order before the pick-up time!
These additional rules apply to all bookings:
If the online payment sum is less than the stated administration fee, there will be no refunds when cancelling your booking once the administration fee is applied.
If your booking is made less than 24 hours prior to the pick-up time (or 48 hours in some cases), a cancellation policy will be automatically applied to your booking.
Important information: To cancel a booking, please go to the “Manage My Booking” section – do not contact the rent-a-car company directly.
Insurance coverage cancellation:
If the car was booked with an additional insurance product, the policy will be automatically ended upon cancellation. The issue of reimbursement is resolved within the framework of the cancellation policy provided for by the terms of the insurance product.
No-show at the rental location:
A “no-show” can mean that:
● You didn't inform the car rental company of your cancellation before your pick-up time.
● You failed to pick up your car in Hungary at the arranged time and date.
● You failed to provide the documentation required to pick up the car.
● You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds on it.
In the event of any of the above, no refunds can be made.
The car rental company reserves the right to refuse a car to any customer who fails to arrive on time with all of the necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit. In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
