Car hire - simple, easy, and affordable prices

We understand the importance of choosing the right pick-up location. With that said, Bookingauto strives to provide customers with the opportunity to collect a car from all desired locations in Lithuania, including the city centre, main railway stations, and the nearest airports. Thanks to such a large selection of rental points, our clients can book a car in Lithuania and pick it up at a convenient place for them.

What we can offer:

By contacting Bookingauto.com, customers can be sure that there is the right type of car waiting for them. For example, if one person or a small group of guests arrives in Lithuania, it makes sense for them to rent a Convertible Mercedes C cabrio from €57 per day. This presentable and comfortable car is offered for rent by EUROPCAR. When it comes to a family or a large company, the best choice may be a Minivan Opel Vivaro at a rate of €61 per day. Your trip will be pleasant and safe in this roomy car. For those who want some extra comfort and have the appropriate budget, SIXT is ready to offer a Business-class model - Mercedes E. A budget transport option for a journey would be a Ford Focus car, compact but quite convenient, the rental of which would cost about €16 per day.

Select the exact date and time for picking up and returning the car:

If you want to save money, choose the same pick-up and return time. Car rental companies charge for a full day of rent, so if you rent a car for 25 hours, you pay for 48 hours (two full days), and 73 hours would be equivalent to four full days of rent.

Popular destinations, Lithuania

On our website, you can rent a car in the following locations:

The rental points are grouped into three main locations: city, airports, and railway stations. Therefore, it won’t be difficult for you to find an option that suits you. Important note: the number of cars offered and the rental price in different rental locations in Lithuania may differ. That is, car rental at the airport can be more expensive compared to the city centre. However, there is generally a larger choice of models at the airport. To pick the best option, you should study all of the offers, compare prices, and then make a decision.

imgEstimated rental price for 1 day
How the price changes depending on the month

During the high season in summer, car rental in Lithuania costs 20-30% more than at other times. For example, renting the Seat Toledo popular in Lithuania costs €16 per day in July. In autumn, you’d pay about €12 for the same model.

During the holidays, the demand for car rental is very high, which is reflected in both the price and the choice of available cars. Therefore, you should book in advance if possible.

In the summer, prices for convertibles are especially high. As a guideline, a Mercedes C cabrio will cost €57 per day for the duration of the vacation period.

Among the economy classes, the most popular model in Lithuania is the Ford Focus. The rental price for such a car starts from €16 per day from EUROPCAR.

Business class car rental in high season is also more expensive. For example, renting a Mercedes E costs about €81 per day.

The excitement noticeably subsides in autumn and rental companies begin to reduce their rates. For example, you can rent a Renault Kaptur very cheaply in the autumn for just €40 per day.

It will also be easier to find unusual and exclusive car models. For example, by renting a BMW X6, you will experience real driving pleasure and enjoy a luxurious visit that will remain in your memory forever.

imgCancellation and change conditions

On our website, you can cancel or change your booking in Lithuania under certain terms.

The booking can be cancelled with a full refund at least 24 hours in advance (in some cases, 48 hours may be needed).

If cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice (or 48 hours in some cases), the administration fee will be deducted from the online payment amount but the rest of the money will be returned to your bank account.

Each vendor has a different cancellation policy and administration fee for different cars. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully read the cancellation policy before booking.

Note: you can only cancel or modify your order before the pick-up time!

These additional rules apply to all bookings:

If the online payment sum is less than the stated administration fee, there will be no refunds when cancelling your booking once the administration fee is applied.

If your booking is made less than 24 hours prior to the pick-up time (or 48 hours in some cases), a cancellation policy will be automatically applied to your booking.

Important information: To cancel a booking, please go to the “Manage My Booking” section – do not contact the rent-a-car company directly.

Insurance coverage cancellation

If the car was booked with an additional insurance product, the policy will be automatically ended upon cancellation. The issue of reimbursement is resolved within the framework of the cancellation policy provided for by the terms of the insurance product.

When does the “No-show” rule apply?

The following situations constitute a "No-show":

● The customer didn’t inform of the cancellation before the pick-up time.

● The customer failed to pick up a car in Lithuania at the arranged time and date.

● The customer failed to provide the documentation required to pick up the car.

● The customer failed to provide a credit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds on it.

In the event of any of the above, no refunds can be made.

The car hire company reserves the right to refuse a car to any customer who fails to provide all of the necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit. In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.

Answers to popular questions

Question: What is included in the base rental price?

Answer : The cost of renting a car in Lithuania is usually made up of unlimited mileage, car damage insurance (CDW), and VAT. Some additional services that can be added are insurance against theft, inclusion of a child seat, and admission for a second driver to use the car. As a rule, the client picks up the car with a full tank of fuel. You must fill it up on its return. In the rental conditions of the selected car, you can find a full list of services that are included in the rental price. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully read all of the important information before booking.

Question: Is it possible to rent a car in one destination and return it in another city?

Answer : If you pick up a car in Lithuania, returning it in another city is possible for an additional fee. You need to mark the option "Return elsewhere" in the search form and indicate your desired city of return. The search results will only offer cars for which this is possible. The price is indicated immediately and takes into account the additional fee for returning in another city.

Question: What type of car is best to rent?

Answer : The most popular cars in Lithuania are ones that fit into the Compact and Standard categories, including the Ford Focus and Seat Toledo models. Check the volume of the boot,  as well as safety and fuel economy features if that’s important to you.

Question: How do I hire a car near my location?

Answer : For almost any location in Lithuania, you can find a car rental office on our website. Click on the "Rent a car near me" icon in the search form. The system will automatically determine your coordinates and suggest a number of available cars, starting with the ones closest to your location. However, check the exact address of the rental office before booking to ensure that the coordinates are accurate.

Question: Are there low-cost airlines in the car rental business in Lithuania?

Answer : The most budget-friendly car rental options are offered by Budget, Last minute rent a car, and Thrifty. You should know, though, that well-known network companies often hold promotional offers, where the discount can be up to 70% off. What’s more, you won’t have to compromise on the quality of service! To choose the most attractive offer, take your time and compare the prices of the cars offered by different rental companies.
